Earthday.org and the Earth Day Network have made Earth Day 2018’s campaign to “End Plastic Pollution”.  Their campaign is dedicated to providing information and inspiration to change our attitude and behavior about plastics which can poisoning the oceans, land, marine life and our health.  To learn how you can take action to “End Plastic Pollution” visit earthday.org.

Don’t forget next week, Saturday, April 28th is Tempe Zero Waste Day.  This drop off is from 7:00 a.m to 1 p.m. at the Tempe Fire Training Facility at 1340 E. University Drive.  To help the “End Plastic Pollution” initiative, you can bring the following items for recycling: Grocery bags, newspaper bags, Ziploc®-type bags, cereal box liners, air pillows, bubble wrap and wrap from bathroom tissue, paper towels, cases of beverages and other products. Bags must be completely empty and dry.
