Traditional composting, Hydroponic crops, and mass food production rarely meet in the same location. At Special Moments Catering they collide daily as we provide hundreds of catered meals across the Valley of the Sun. Greenhouse hydroponically grown lettuce provides the base for the 100 plus salads we serve daily. Our customers benefit from nutrient-rich produce which has never seen the likes of ANY pesticides. Collection bins at all of our prep stations ensure that no compostable item goes to waste. Our company provides 150+ gallons of compostable material which is collected to make fertilizer to feed organic crops within 2 community gardens. These gardens are accessible only to those in need and provide organically grown crops to the less fortunate. Our story is that of full circle production and we’d love to share it with you and your readers.
